Ir Dr Samantha Kong is Associate Professor of Practice in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where she serves as Deputy Programme Leader of a postgraduate programme and brings teaching innovation, including gamified projects and LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, into the classroom. She is an award-winning Chartered Civil Engineer and Environmental Engineer. Before joining the University full-time, she spent over a decade at SMEC Asia, Ove Arup & Partners and the Business Environment Council, leading environmental, sustainability and ESG projects across Hong Kong, Macau, mainland China, Southeast Asia and Qatar.

Recognized as a champion for environmental education, she has been invited to speak at numerous occasions and was Samantha was named one of the world’s top 30 young change-makers in environmental education by the North America Association for Environmental Education in 2018, and one of Hong Kong’s Top 10 Outstanding Youth in 2014, alongside a Community Service Award from the Home Affairs Bureau. She received the Young Woman Engineer of the Year Award from the Institution of Engineering and Technology Hong Kong and joined the Asia Pacific Eco-Business Youth A-List in 2021. Her passion for international relations and environmental issues brought her to work at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on the drafting of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in 2014. She also previously represented Hong Kong at the G20 Youth Summit 2013 to discuss the global environmental issues with the experts.

For ten years, Samantha has advised the Government on environmental, heritage and youth matters, including as the youngest member of the Advisory Council on the Environment, the Government’s highest advisory body on environmental matters, and on the Advisory Committee on Built Heritage Conservation, the Green Tech Fund Assessment Committee and, currently, the Antiquities Advisory Board. In the profession, she sits on the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers’ Environmental Discipline Advisory Panel, has served on its Task Force on Women in Engineering, has been a School Ambassador since 2014, and is a co-author of 誰說 Engineering 是水泡科, a book of 46 real-life engineering stories. Her goal in life is to promote positive change in the world through education and learning.

江穎敏現任香港理工大學土木及環境工程學系實務副教授，並擔任一個研究生課程的副課程統籌，把遊戲化學習及 LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® 等創新教學方法帶進課堂。她是一位屢獲殊榮的特許土木工程師和環境工程師。在全職加入大學之前，她在 SMEC Asia、奧雅納工程顧問（Ove Arup & Partners）及商界環保協會累積逾十年業界經驗，領導環境、可持續發展及 ESG 項目，足跡遍及香港、澳門、中國內地、東南亞及卡塔爾。

作為環境教育推動者，她曾多次受邀演講，並於 2018 年獲北美環境教育協會選為「全球 30 位年青環境教育家」，並於 2014 年獲民政事務局頒發「香港十大優秀青年」及「社會服務獎」，為該屆雙料得獎者；她亦榮獲工程及科技學會香港分會「傑出女青年工程師獎」，並於 2021 年入選 Eco-Business 亞太區青年 A-List。她對國際關係和環境問題的熱情使她於 2014 年前往紐約聯合國總部工作，主要草擬聯合國可持續發展目標。她亦曾代表香港出席 2013 年二十國集團青年峰會，與專家商討全球環境問題。

十年來，江博士一直就環境、文物保育及青年事務向政府提供意見，包括出任環境諮詢委員會最年輕的成員（該委員會是政府在環境事務上的最高諮詢機構），以及保育歷史建築諮詢委員會、綠色科技基金評審委員會，現時亦是古物諮詢委員會成員。在專業方面，她是香港工程師學會環境專業諮詢小組成員，曾參與該學會的女工程師專責小組，並自 2014 年起擔任學校大使。她亦是《誰說 Engineering 是水泡科 – 46 個工程系故事》的作者之一。她的人生目標，是透過教育和學習，為世界帶來正面改變。
