A book featuring Engineers’ Stories to Inspire Secondary School Students to Pursue Engineering

Engineering. The science of making stuff. But for many students, it wouldn't be their first choice as a career, therefore not seen as a glamorous option for study in Hong Kong. This prompted me to write a book called 「誰說 Engineering 是水泡科」(translates into English as “Who Says Engineering is Second Best?” for secondary school students, hoping to enhance the image of engineers. I do not believe HK is only a centre for finance, it also has some of the most impressive engineering in the world. One way to enhance the image of engineers is by sharing successful stories with secondary school students about the contributions that engineers could contribute. This would allow students and their parents to understand the wide variety of engineering opportunities and career prospects both locally and globally.
